   It seems that wp1.0 is not producing valid XHTML when you try to use a

   Blockquote

   within your text - Instead of closing the P-Tag before and re-opening after it simply inserts the blockquote.

   Try adding some spacing, like
   paragraph

   blockquoted text

   another paragraph.
