Bug submission how to? (6 posts)

The Trac system requires a login but doesn't seem to have any place to sign up. Is some sort of official status required to submit bugs?

Starting with version 1.5.2, I am getting duplicate posts with both the bookmarklet and the Write tab in the Administration Panel. I posted on this here and the only response was a suggestion to track down which post had pinged successfully and delete the other one - that's not anywhere near an acceptable solution and unfortunately the fact that there was a response means no one else is even looking at the issue on the forum. This is a bug. It needs to be fixed. It's a further bug that I can't find how to submit the damn bug.

Wasn't that happening here on this forum a few days ago as well?

    Report bugs here?

Mosquito is no longer the current way to submit bugs. Bugs are submitted in Trac. Sorry if I wasn't clear. It's not that I don't know where to submit them, it's that a login is required.

The Trac login is the same login that you use here.
I'll try and find the link.

Please do; I did a WP search for "bug report" and mosquito was the first hit. Shouldn't there be some kind of link to the Trac login page from the Mosquito link I just posted to avoid just this kind of confusion?
