   Error Type: 500 - Internal Server Error

   Case: The Error appears when the plugin "Karailiev's sitemap" is activated, you're logged in as editor and try to post a new page or post. No other cases are known. Admins can still post.

   Is there any suggestion which sitemap plugin would do better?

   I am using "Google XML Sitemaps" and so are 5,841,392 other people :-)
   No compatibility issues with W3TC :

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/

   Apparently, Karailiev's plug-in has not been updated since 2009.
   Maybe it's time to move to "Google XML Sitemaps".
