   A client contacted me today with a strange reoccurring event issue. They have an event that is supposed to reoccur on the first Friday of each month.

   It was created or first occurred on Friday, December 7, but every occurrence after that is on the second Friday of the month.

   The admin Calendar view shows the event on the second Friday, and when you click on that event on the admin Calendar it says, "This event reoccurs every month on the second Friday until Nov, 8th 2013"

   However, when you go to the Edit Event admin screen it says, "This event will repeat every month on the first Friday until November 8th 2013"

   I deleted the event and tried creating it again, but it did the same thing.

   I just tried something else. I created a duplicate event for Friday, January 4, 2013 and it worked, reoccurring on the first Friday of each month through the year. Kind of weird...

   Any ideas?

   At first I tried this with an event starting on the 2nd November. Then tested again with 7th December and I get this. There is some error in the logic somewhere that deems the 7th to be the second of a day. When it should be from the 8th... Surprised its taken this long to come to light.

   Excellent, thanks for looking into that. If I understand the ticket on GitHub correctly this will fix will be included in 1.6.1?

   Yup, its 'fixed' as far as the dev-1.6.1 branch is concerned. In theory you could download that and use it. Given the minor change you shouldn't have any problems. I will probably wait about a few days to a week before releasing it on the repository - just in case any other bugs come to light.
