WP Missed Schedule Fix Failed Future Posts
[resolved] BUG Published *future* posts after update (48 posts)

It may be a coincidence, but minutes after I did the automatic update for WP Missed Schedule, two of my posts that were scheduled at a future date published themselves (and got tweeted...).

I have deactivated the plugin until further notice.

    Help!?

The exact same thing happened to me as well. Also, for some reason there were two versions of the plugin on my page and when trying to active one of them I got an error. But I experienced the same thing where ALL future posts got published.

I got the same problem. I'd had a few weeks worth of posts scheduled and now they are all posted! I've deactivated the plugin. Does anyone know how to unpost them? When I change to "draft" they still show up on the website.

chimesfreedom you have to click on date/hour of post and click ok and the blue button change to scheduled.

You can also just click "update" on each one and that'll take care of it.

Thanks. I was doing that but the posts were still showing up for about ten minutes, but they have disappeared now. Thanks again. I hope we get a working version of the plugin again soon.

I am sorry of this, please revert to version 2013.0531.4444, available here, for now.

The problem is due to new HyperdDB code

    I am working on a solution ...

Can you tell me where I can find version 2013.0531.4444? When I go to install in wordpress (I had to uninstall the plugin, it kept publishing my scheduled posts) only version 2013.0725.5555 is available.

This plugin has always been fabulous, thank you for your hard work, sLa NGjI's

I am sorry, but the problem is not related to my code, but to others issues :)

Thank you for the fixed version. I will install it as soon as I have all scheduled posting again. Unfortunately, a lot of work...

I know the life of a programmer is tough, no doubt. It is usually integrated code that does not play together cleanly.

But to prevent such a problem in the future: I do not think that there are people who publish several posting in few seconds/minutes. How about a counter or switch, we can activate and the plugin automatically ceases to publish articles and issues a warning? Or something like that. What do you think? For my part I would very much welcome such a function :)

in case anyone has a whole hell of a lot of posts to unpublish (i had 183 of them!), this seemed to be the easiest/fastest way to do it: (1) bulk edit and change status to draft. (2) uninstall plugin. (3) bulk edit and change status to published. since the plugin's not there, wordpress will correctly read the date and simply schedule them for the future again. i haven't reinstalled the "fixed" plugin version yet, though. not sure i want to chance that headache again.

Then please publish this function quite fast, so as this worst case scenario can not happen again. Thank you!
