Hi, in v1.1.2 several improvements were done to eliminate such problems. In particular, a new option was added: ‘Enable ExpressCurate Blockquote’. By default it is enabled and the blockquote/quotation element’s style is affected in your theme, you can disable it if you consider the blockquote style from your theme good enough and ExpressCurate won’t override it.
Can you, please, check if the issue is fixed and let us know?

hi, i’ve tried disabling this option and still i see the same problem on my blog. it didnt work
unfortunately looks like your tagging and stuff doesnt really disable even though i changed the setting and really messed up my site so i had to fix content manually. plugin is a nice idea, but it doesnt work well. even when importing content forever loading and crashed my browser. not a very good plugin. if its not ready for release you really shouldnt release it.
