Wanted to report this bug I'm experiencing with 3.2-beta1 and see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. I usually write with the HTML editor (rather than the Visual editor), but when I try to toggle fullscreen in HTML mode, my text doesn't show up, and I can't write in it. However fullscreen mode appears to work fine when I'm in Visual mode.

1 month later in WP 3.2 official release, fullscreen is NOT WORKING in either Visual or HTML ... using FF 5.0

Works fine for me on Chrome.

Try changing your theme to the Twenty Elvene theme, and turning off your plugins. You could have a conflict.

i just let ppl know and be aware of. i dont wanna change my theme and turn off my plugins or change browser to use fullscreen :P

plugins conflicting is no excuse, WP is popular of its plugins so WP should make it not conflict ;)

Fullscreen mode works in both Visual and HTML for me with FF 5.0. Using the Twenty Eleven Theme.

Sometimes it takes disabling all plugins and then enabling them one-by-one to find which is causing the conflict. Once you find the conflict then see if there is an update for the plugin or find out if the author is working to make the plugin compatible with 3.2 ;)

I wish that was possible. Unfortunately Web applications can't really control what plugins do, aside from being a closed loop and requiring every single plugin and theme to be "certified" for a particular release.. That'll never happen though due to the open source nature and freedom's of the WordPress project which you get to enjoy. (And face it, if it were possibly, You'd now be without a plugin or theme as it was causing WordPress issues and would've been disabled)

    Please read http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/ar...creen_mode.html. It mentions

Users cannot enter text in text input fields while in full-screen mode. All keyboard input and key-related ActionScript is disabled while in full-screen mode, with the exception of the keyboard shortcuts that take the viewer out of full-screen mode.
