At first i must say i love this plugin.
What would make it great are: a search option (like a Knowlegdebase), Rating option and maybe groups could be checkboxes instead of search.

Also i noticed a small case sentivity bug. I mad my group like this: Supply (notice the front cap). And when i enter it like this:
    [faq order=”DESC” orderby=”date” group=”Supply”] my faq doesn’t show.
I must enter it with all small caps: [faq order=”DESC” orderby=”date” group=”supply”].

Please check this for a fix.

    Hi rrvoigt,

Thank you for the kind words and for using my plugin. I’ll certainly investigate your suggestions for future versions of the plugin.

With regard to your case sensitivity bug, it’s unfortunately a limitation of WordPress. According to the Tax_Query documentation, the only acceptable parameters for the taxonomy (in the case of my plugin, the taxonomy is “Group”) are slug and ID. I hard-coded slug into my plugin code because I thought that would be easier to work with than ID.

    Thanks!

    Dear John,
Thanks for the reply. Your right the taxonomy is the best method.
Maybe you could place a small reference in the description so other users can keep this in mind when setting up groups short codes.

Again good work my friend 😉

    Regards,

    Robert

It is mentioned in the documentation, but since it’s only in passing I can see how it would be easy to overlook. I’ll update accordingly. Thanks!
