Please consider in your next update adding to the Editorial Budget the option of displaying posts, pages or both. This is already available in the Editorial Calendar. The budget now displays categories containing only pages, when I’m most interested in posts.

Also consider a way to filter out multiple categories, allowing our editors to concentrate on core daily topics. As it is, although our “About” category holds only system pages and is rarely updated, it is listed before the “Education” category that contains posts updated hourly.

Another option would be to not view budgets categories which are empty. This would keep a budget print-out being cluttered with “this category is empty” boxes.

We’ve identified this feature request in the past, but the blocker is currently how you would organize Pages if the post type didn’t support categories. Any thoughts on how that should work?

We can probably set up a filter where you can determine your own custom sort order, or hide ones that are empty.

I’m unsure how you would organize the pages. However, filtering that would allow editors better control over category display (particularly the ability to hide blank sections) would be great.

Cool, I’ve filed an issue for it.

Fixed here. Will go out with our next release shortly. Once it goes out, you’ll be able to use the ef_story_budget_filter_terms filter as was meant to work.
