Paid Memberships Pro
Buddypress pages don't follow PMPro access rules (2 posts)

I am currently evaluating Paid Memberships Pro / Buddypress integration to use on a new website.

I have incorporated the "PMPro BuddyPress Customizations" plugin to lockdown parts of BuddyPress with PMPro.

The problem I am seeing is that the Buddypress pages (members & activities) are not following PMPro access rules. If I set the members page to require a PMPro membership level for viewing, it doesn't work and all visitors, logged in or not, may view the page freely.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi swdd,

What version of PMPro are you currently using? Up to 1.7.2 there was a "bug" due to the way that BuddyPress/bbPress render their content. We have since fixed this bug.

Here's the line that we changed to combat this issue: https://github.com/strangerstudios/paid-memberships-pro/blob/master/includes/content.php#L14.

    Hope this helps!
