BuddyPress or..

Hi,

I’m looking for the best way to develop a website with:
– Company profiles
– A company got contacts (the users)
– Users should be able to discuss with each other in a forum
– Users should be able to make notes (also a forum?) with some users
– Users should be able to send private messages to an other user.

We are looking at BuddyPress, but can’t see how we could add the company profile to a user?
The company profiles should/could be added by the webmaster.
The Groups in BuddyPress seems to be enabled to use the forums.. we don’t want users to add new groups.

So is it better to do it with BBPress and maybe the Pods pluggin or should we use BuddyPress?
