    Hey there - awesome plugin!

I am using a regular multisite setup with buddypress set to a subsite using define('BP_ROOT_BLOG', 5); in wp-config.php

I can get achievements to work just fine, and it automatically takes me to the buddypress achievements page on the subsite, but is showing 0 karma points per achievement.

Does buddypress need to be installed on the main site for achievements to work properly? is there a snippet of code i can use to tell achievements to base itself off of the buddypress subsite? Or am i having a different problem entirely?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

i used the shortcodes on a page on my main site, and it showed all the achievements and associated karma points for achievements both on the main site and buddypress site..

I added the shortcodes to a page on the buddypress site and its just showing empty spaces where the achievements should be, though it is creating space for each achievement - just not awarding karma points:

(I really dislike BP's BP_ROOT_BLOG. I wish we never added it.)

I'm not sure Achievements works with a different BP_ROOT_BLOG set. I vaguely remember headaches during development, but I can't remember if I decided the support it or not.

I think you'll want to 'network activate' Achievements, and set this in your wp-config.php:
    define( 'DPA_DATA_STORE', 5 );

Ok, so I added that code, and it switched the achievements admin menu item to my subsites dashboard.. went to try and create a new achievement, and when i click the "press here to add achievement" button, nothing comes up. Saw that someone else had the same problem - ever figure out what it was?

I removed the bit of code from wp-config, to get achievements reassociated with the root blog, and now the "press here" button brings up the full list of actions..

    hmmm.. any ideas?

What precisely is "nothing comes up"? Can I get a screenshot?

OK, so after reading a few comments here and there about people, including yourself, not being so fond of BP_ROOT_BLOG for numerous reason, i decided to just quit while im ahead and recreate my network from the ground up, with buddypress on the root blog..

    Problem solved! haha

    Thanks for your time..

    Cheers..

    Cool.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to help fix the problem directly without you having to change the BP_ROOT_BLOG configuration.
