BuddyPress AJAX Chat Error

    Using all the latest versions on a fresh into, the Akax Chat is stating this:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in C:\xampplite\htdocs\buddy\wp-content\plugins\buddypress-ajax-chat\bp-chat\chat\lib\class\AJAXChat.php on line 124

    here is the line of code from 124:

    return ($this->db->getName() ? $this->db->getName().'.'.$this->getConfig('dbTableNames',$table) : $this->getConfig('dbTableNames',$table));

    Anyone have a solution? Thanks
