[resolved] Brute Force attack prevention (4 posts)

    Hello, we are using the options of brute force attack from our website which is really AWESOME!! My concern is what if we lost our link, how can we retrieve the link to login..???

    For now we are saving it on our spreadsheet, but still worries as might we will lost our spreadsheet..So, any idea on how to retrieve??

    To add to the above....

    All you really need to do is to remember the secret word which you chose when you configured the Brute Force Prevention feature.
    As you long as you know this then remembering the URL is easy - it is simply your website URL followed by "?yoursecretword=1".
    Eg;
    xyz.com?secretword=1

    Yeah..Thanks..But with a multiple websites of clients its hard to remember all..So, I guess putting back the old .htaccess will be the solution and just do again the settings for the security...
