    You could compress the CSS to remove all the white space. MaxT does this. It is trickier to edit but once your design stabilises it is well worth it for the weight saving. Must get mine done.

    NukeMoose, I'm glad I could inspire you :-) A lot of people don't give web standards the credit they deserve, but it's amazing the improvements that result from using them to the letter.

    That is a good point about the white space in the CSS file. I just found a way to use the Style Sweeper in TopStyle Pro to handle this. It will make your CSS all nice and pretty for you to work on, and then when you want to save it for uploading, you run it through the crusher, and all of the unnecessary white space is removed. It's so quick and easy to do, and is completely automated.
