Browser Sniff plugin HELP PLEASE!!

    I’ve jsut installed the browser sniff plugin and it works fine but i want to add the icons so they show on my page..
    but i don’t understand step 4. in the structions to do so.

    4.(optional) Download web browser and operating system icons: browsers.tar.gz. Extract it in your WordPress installation root directory. This should create a directory browsers filled with icons.

    How do i extract the file into my WP installation root directory?? Which one is my root directory??

    Someone please help i’m going crazy trying to figure this out!

    Your root directory is the one with the wp-admin/ and wp-content/ folders in it, as well as things like wp-blog-header.php and wp-rss.php.

    Unless you have shell access on your server, it’s probably best to extract the archive on your computer, and then upload all the extracted files/directories to your WP root directory. To do this, open the .tar.gz file with something like WinZip or Stuffit – usually you can just double-click and your system will recognize the extension and unpack the file.
