Browser downloads install.php instead of serving it (2 posts)

    got everything set and went to http://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php

    and instead of serving the page, the browser downloads the file (install.php).

    I'm on OSX and i had the same occurance in firefox and safari

    cleared the cache and flushed the dns...no luck

    the site is on media temple dedicated virtual(LAMP)

    Hello Locustfist,

    Are you able to access any other php pages besides 'install.php'? sounds like php isn't parsing correctly on your server. I would advise you to ensure that php is installed correctly.
