   Anytime I try to create a new post/page or edit an existing post/page when I click on Save or Publish instead of saving or publishing the article my browser opens a dialog box asking for me to save or open post.php or page.php

   What would cause this and how can I fix it?

   Check your web server's error logs? Would be helpful to see what error is getting logged.
