Broken Theme: says parent theme is missing but it isn't

    Hi there,

    Can anyone explain this? This is my first time creating a child theme which I am doing from a theme called Chameleon. I have created a directory in Themes called ‘chameleon-child’ alongside ‘Chameleon’.

    I have placed a single file called style.css which includes the following:

    /*
    Theme Name: chameleon-child
    Template: chameleon
    */
    @import url(“../chameleon/style.css”);

    i thought this should be fine but it won’t show up in Appearances/Themes and there is an error code below as follows:

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name chameleon-child
    Description The parent theme is missing. Please install the “chameleon” parent theme.

    Chameleon is already installed and is working fine. I just want to play with the php in a child theme but don’t know what I am missing here. I am puzzled…
