   I just noticed that all links to PDFs are broken on my site. Most of them were uploaded via attachments through media uploader; others were directly linked to via folder on server. The latter methods seems to be ok, but previous PDFs uploaded in a post as an attachment now returns a 403 error.

   Anyone else experiencing this? I'm also still missing visual editor which a lot of people seem to be having problems with and is another issue altogether.

   I did a test and re-uploaded PDFs as attachments in a test post and still getting 403 error.

   I checked hotlink protection on server, folder/file permissions and htaccess (although I'm not sure what I am looking for exactly here, if anything at all).

   Anyone else experiencing this? Any workarounds?

   Am I the only one who has come across this?

   PDF attachments returning a 403, but image attachments don't, kind of weird.

   I checked my htaccess, went through each plugin (disabling, deleting, reinstalling...), reinstalled wordpress and still can't figure out what's wrong. It's being attached corrected (it was working previously), but seemed to stop with the 3.x.x upgrade.

   Any help is greatly appreciated. It's becoming time consuming to upload pdfs into separate directory and link to.
