    Hi,

    i keep getting a weird broken image tag that looks like this /”/” , wordpress seems to be putting it in front of the image URL and in the alt text.

    i can see the image in the media library but when i publish it breaks.

    I have changed the theme (to the wp 2011 theme) and it still does not work.
    I dropped the PHPSQL database, completely re-installed wordpress and it still happens.

    PLease can someone help.

    kinda urgent.

    Does this happen to all images or just this one image?

    all images on posts and pages.

    Check your uploads path in Settings -> Media. It should be blank in most WP installs.

    Try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    If it doesn’t work, try resetting the plugins folder by PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    no not that either, i think its got something to do with the hosting server.

    do you know how to redirect dns IP address thingy ?

    You’d need to ask your hosts about this.

    yes, thanks i figured out that there was random code in the .htacces file from the previous website drupal installation.

    so all sorted.
