    On my site: http://hosannacitychurch.org/sermons/ something happens to the mp3's and they don't download properly.

    I've checked with my theme's support (Mint Themes) and they said:

    "Please contact you web host and ask them to enable the PHP function: URL file-access - function.readfile
    Here the error your server is generating:
    function.readfile function.readfile : URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in
    /homepages/20/d193419778/htdocs/hosanna/wp-content/themes/Micah/includes/mp3.php"

    Here's my phpinfo:

    http://hosannacitychurch.org/phpinfo.php

    My host, 1and1, said that I can change settings using php.ini. I've previously enabled larger uploads by adding

    upload_max_filesize = 120M
    post_max_size = 120M
    file_uploads = On

    and I've added (to try and enable downloads):

    output_buffering = On
    enable_dl =On

    to my /wp-admin/ directory. I've been adjusting and researching php.ini and .htaccess for hours. No dice. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    hi, I'm using a theme from Mint Themes for our church website and was given access to my php.ini file to enable settings as needed.

    To enable the PHP function: URL file-access - function.readfile, I had to change:
    allow_url_fopen = Off
    to
    allow_url_fopen = On
