Broke a lot of things

    I had some banner in the admin console that suggested I add ReadyGraph, as I’d been using Subscribe2. I don’t know how, but it broke the ability of people to leave comments. When I found that out I deleted ReadyGraph and it appears to have deleted all my comments. Five YEARS of comments are all gone, just gone.

    Thanks ReadyGraph… what a horrible plugin.

    Hi bonefishbjorn,

    I am sorry for the trouble caused to you, but there will be some other reason for the delete. As there are no contents of ReadyGraph and thus there are no hooks which could delete the commentsm. Please let me know more about the issue. We will try our best to resolve the issue.

    Also, if you have backup, we can restore the comments till the date of backup.

    I did two things. I reset permalinks to default and I deleted ReadyGraph. Would resetting the permalinks delete all the comments? I still don’t have the ability to add comments.

    All I know is that when the ReadyGraph got added everything on the site went pear-shaped.

    I’m not a technical person. Fixing this is beyond my meager abilities.
