Bridging WordPress and IPB3

I run a community that is powered by Invision Power Board 3.0.5, someone mentioned to me about customizing a WordPress install and using it as a front page system for my website.

I am wondering if there is a plugin or modification that can bridge my WordPress install with IPB3? Here is the features I need for the bridge/integration:

– Allow members to log in via the front page Worpress page and become logged into the forum.

– Be able to grab news posts threads/posts from a specific section on the forum and display it on the frontpage WordPress install.

– Display a list of the latest (five or so) posts and threads on the front page.

– When someone replies to a news post on the forum, show any replies to that news thread as comments on the WordPress front page.
