   Is there anyway i could bridge smf 2.0.1 and the latest version of wp together to work as one?

   There are some listed here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/smf

   But I don't know of anyone who's used one.

   I used to have the 2 bridged.

   I highly doubt anyone has a functioning bridge.

   Every time either site updates, the bridge goes bad and needs reconfigured. It was a huge amount of hassle, and only worked right for a week maybe. I ended up totally abandoning SMF, and just using WP to run my forum so I wasn't always fighting 2 different codebases to work together
