  • Did you write any code for it already?

Well, if you mean I have to write some code to get control of all images that can be implemented in the template… yes I can, but have not. My dreamweaver is basic, so thats a start.

It’s kinda funny Alessandro, there seems to be tons of tutorial for learning how to build your own themes and dealing with plugins and widgets, but that step between making your homepage LOOK like the sample in the template is like a ghost.

I think someone could make money with a guide to “How to completely mess around with your purchased template for dummies.” *rant over*

I would like to be able to make changes in the images on the slider, the thumbnails on the feeds/ recent post widgets and… thats it.

Where do I go for this information?

    FYI

Me = know a bit of HTML, but work professionally in other areas and willing to put the time in to learn this.

My client = want content on site asap, dont bother us with the details type deal.

making your homepage LOOK like the sample in the template

have you asked at the theme vendor’s site – for a commercial theme, they should provide some support.

is there a ‘read me’ file with the theme?

it will be difficult to help you through this forum, as there is no free access to the theme files, to check how they include the thumbnails.
