• So I have an e-mag with many users (roughly 20 content creators).

I updated the framework – and in doing so I needed to change a handful of Custom Post Type URLS using this Plugin.

The Plugin worked as intended – but not sure if I’m able to Deactivate the Plugin now though. Now all “New Posts” don’t automatically employ my regular Permalink structure; ie it no longer goes to “/blog”, or “/blog/yyyy/mm/dd/name/”, it simply does a post number directly out of the root directory. I also can’t change my Permalink Structure (OPTIONS) in general, it keeps reverting. All my previous posts work great, this issue is only with new posts.

It would be great if I could KEEP my Permalink changes via this Plugin – but allow my content creators to easily set up their posts without having to constantly set up the “/blog/yyyy/mm/dd/name/” — having to do that by hand is prone to error or confusion.

Unless there’s an alternate plugin I could use for specifically fixing those handful of CPT’s, and continue publishing like before? Any advise or updates would be great.

    Thank you!

I want to follow this up —

My original permalink structure doesn’t take on new posts ONLY when I save a DRAFT.

Having accidentally PUBLISHED a new post – the original permalink structure was in place and working.

Odd bug. Wish it worked otherwise. I’ll have to test against authors submitting for pending to know if they suffer the bug.
