breadcrumbs usage

    hi

    is there a better documentation on how to use breadcrumbs in your plugin ?
    this thread : https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/breadcrumbs/ , does not give much documentation
    i mean yes it does, but i am not code savy to understand where exactly i need to place that code for breadcrumbs to work

    lets say that i use the default wordpress 3.9 template . What is the file where i need to put that code ?
    Also, what about after i put that code in ? Where will the breadcrumbs be displayed ?
