  • Have you installed any plugin or something for the breadcrumbs. Because breadcrumb is not present in the source code.

The theme demo is using the recommended Breadcrumbs NavXT plugin which offers a lot of features.

In the setup documentation I have a tutorial about breadcrumbs, although at the moment you will have to register on my site to access the tutorials (details are in the theme’s readme.txt file). After today though, my free themes documentation will be public and no longer behind a login.

ha! I did not have a plugin as I assumed that it was worked into the theme.

Also, thanks for recommending Breadcrumbs NavXT because I was going to ask specifically which plugin the demo site is using.

    MANY THANKS!

You’re very welcome! I had a feeling you would be asking so I tossed in the name 🙂

Anyway, I try to avoid coding plugins directly into themes because this can lead to problems down the road for compatibility and other interesting fun things that can happen with new versions of WordPress or even other plugins. I will be writing an article about all this soon of the pro’s and con’s of coding in plugins vs installable plugins.
