    Please allow me to first apologize for whatever it was I did to get “bozo-ed” (the first I’ve heard of the term, I’m still not entirely sure what it means). There was a thread with a user in my area. He mentioned he was looking for a programmer to help with some issues he was having. I mentioned I was in his area, and to contact me if interested.

    I assumed solicitation would be something like, “hey man, I can fix that for you for 20 bucks”… which I would never do. However, I see now how my statement was considered solicitation, and I assure you it won’t happen again.

    I have worked with WordPress about six months; contributing to plugin development, helping in the forum whenever possible, and developing networks and relationships. I would be EXTREMELY grateful if my reputation was not affected in a derogatory manner (again, I’m not sure what “bozo-ed” means).

    I volunteer on the Graphene theme forum, where I am a moderator. I understand the rigors of moderating, and I have the utmost respect for all of you.

    I tried to do a search on google for “wp forums bozo”… but all I could find was an article or two basically telling me I was an idiot.

    I am sorry. I learned my lesson. It will NOT happen again. Is there anything I can do to work on getting this removed?

    That’s not the moderator forum. It’s a mailing list, and its hosted on Automatic (the link at the bottom is to the REAL location…. Which isn’t the point.) *ahem* 😀

    The ‘bozo’ flag just means you’re being moderated (we have to review and approve all your posts). It allows us to keep a closer eye on people to suss out if it’s just an ‘oops! My bad!’ thing or a pattern.

    I’ve un-mod’d you 🙂

    You, my sir, are wonderful. I did notice that my posts were not appearing immediately (I assumed because they were being moderated first). I completely understand the reason, but gosh it was a pain when trying to “work” back and forth on the threads while helping others.

    One million “Thank You’s” to you. I promise to be much more careful in the future.

    Thank you also for clarifying who is who. So, just out of curiosity, what is the mailing list for? Can anyone join? I’m going to go see if I can find some details.
