Bots still commenting even though commets are closed?

    Hi,

    bots commenting on my blog isn’t that bad, especially since SI Captcha usually sorts them out anyway.
    However, I wanted to try whether bots would stop if I closed comments for a while (not such a popular blog in the first place). BUT … bots are still posting comments (no comment fields are available on the posts they comment on) ?
