Hi,
I'm just playing around with something and not after critiques.
If anyone is bored or just feels like helping me out, could you please take a full screenshot of this url and tell me your screen res used etc....
Site: http://go.os42.com
Email: shadow12 at gmail dot com
Thank to anyone who feels like helping out :)
Cleared the cache - took about 1-2sec. That's all.
Thanks again..
If I ever use my brain before I speak/type - it would really help :P
on a connection that can be safely called a piece of crap, it took more than a minute. but its more due to my poor connectivity. :)
Now I know why Podz beat me to answer the simple queries on the forums. :) I may type fast, but his net let him post first. :D
LMAO
Thank you for making the effort Sushubh:)
you list me in WP Impressum... I had a duty to fulfil :D
LOL - You are in there by right :)
We have been through this before Sushubh...
Shadow, just sent you one.
Thanks EyeNo...hey nice res you have there :)
---------------------------
On the larger res the whole background image is showing but as on my pc 1024x768, when the address bars etc are open - we lose half of the 'header' [which isn't a header of course]
Does anyone know how to push down the background image so that it would show under the toolbars etc at the top?
Thanks LJH - screenshot received :)
Does adding
margin-top: 200px;
to body bring the image down ?
2fargon: Thanks for the screenshot :)
Podz: That was exactly my thinking but no it doesn't work.
Shadow - just sent you one from my desktop.... took 1-2 secs on my T1 here.
TG
Thanks TG - whoa....big screen you have there:)
Yeah, that's what she said..... *smirk*

Only the Shadow knows...
Another screenie on its way, Shadow.
Craig.
Maybe now in body take out the 200px top margin and try background-position: top center; plus in the url drop the color alternative in before the url not after it. HTH.
no one confirmed if they got my screenshot :D
Received your screenshots Moose and SJ [thanks]. And yes I received yours Sushubh [see above - thanks again] .
Hey Root - that has done the trick - thanks very much :) Now, how do I push down the post content and menu so it is not sitting up in the top graphic?
No need for any more screenshots now.
Thanks again to everyone who helped out :)
Duh. looks like i am stil ldrunk.
shadow I am now not quite sure what I am meant to be looking at. I have done Ctrl +F5 and such but it looks the same. Still - you seem happy. To push down the content and menu in #masthead you can set a height. OR set up margin-top for both the #rmenu and #main I think. Adjust to fit. Email me if you get stuck.
Sorry Root, I forget to say I have shifted it to one of my styles on the main site, hence it doesn't look any different on the test blog.
It's all sorted out now and I have ended up not using your index but my original instead. One or two little things to fix up, but otherwise I am happy with it :)
Thanks again for everyone's help .
