It works perfectly for me. The problem might lie in the site that the bookmarklet is linked to. What is its url? What urls are entered in Settings -> General for this site? And finally, has it been moved at any time since WordPress was first installed?

Mmm, I have changed server twice in the time. all the rest is ok.

Ill remove them and reinstall. But do you know how I can change their names so I know which one is which, I have about 20 blogs.

You should be able to do that via your browser. In Firefox 13, you right-click the bookmarklet, select Properties and change the name in there.

Sorry, you're looking for something that isn't here: http://www.cairnsportdouglas.org/wp-admin/press-this.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.theage.com.au%2Ftravel%2Ftravel-news%2Fback-in-fashion-aussies-record-spend-on-holidays-at-home-20120613-209sx.html&t=Back%20in%20fashion%3A%20Aussies\'%20record%20spend%20on%20holidays%20at%20home&s=&v=4
There are several links scattered around the page, maybe you can find what you're looking for
Perhaps using the search form will help...

    any ideas?

this is a mystery... Ive tried everything. could it be some sites dont allow the bookmarklet?

I wouldn't have thought so. The bookmarklet is just a tiny javascript. Are all of your sites hosted with the same company?

I found the problem, it was hostgator. There is a different bit of code that needs to change, all is working now.
