Just FYI, I recently noticed in a client’s Google webmaster statistics that “bookmark” was the most commonly found keyword on his web site. So, I looked at the source code of one of his pages and noticed that the Bookmark Me plugin puts the word bookmark into the code many more times than the Sociable plugin does. I read the source code of one of his category archive pages and found that the word bookmark was in his source code 250 times for one page! I changed the site to use Sociable, put in 2 more bookmarks than he had with Bookmark Me, refreshed the page, checked the source code, and now the same page had the word bookmark only 30 times.

So I have to conclude that if you want Google to accurately place your site in the rankings by finding more relevant keywords in your code, you should consider the merits of Sociable over Bookmark Me. Also, Sociable has a longer list of sites to choose from, and uses Ajax so you can arrange the order of the icons any way you want them.
