I'm looking for a simple plugin to add a bookmark icon to the breadcrumb. Every bookmark plugin I come across is for social networks. I'm looking for one that just uses the browser's favorites.

You could do it manually adding something like the following into your theme where you want it to be displayed:
<a href="javascript:bookmarksite(document.title, window.location.href)"><img src="http://mydomain.com/bookmark.jpg alt="Bookmark" /></a>
