Try going to Dashboard –> Plugins –> Add New and search for plugins using the term ‘booking’. That should give you a pretty long list of plugins to choose from.
I’ve recently used a plugin that is simply called ‘bookings’ by Zingiri. It works for me. There are free and ‘Pro’ (paid for) versions. The free version is fine for single schedules and a limited number of resources (e.g. stylists). You need to make sure that your Web host has cURL installed and that PHP is compiled with it. That wasn’t a problem with my host, or my clients.
The very lastest ‘Pro’ version of bookings also links to Paypal for online payments, I think. The Pro version costs $90pa.
I also installed wp-members (or ‘membership’ – I can’t remember which) in order to ensure that the bookings system was only available for registered users, but you may not need that if you want all and sundry to be able to book.
