   Hi,
   I'm new to WordPress. I have a bog set up on a hosted site and also local WP on my mac using mamp.

   I want to start developing my own theme. I already have reasonable css/web experience and my question is whether there are any books worth buying that are applicable to 2.8 or whether I should just stick to the online docs.
