I am having a problem with my site, whereas if I use bold and italics in my post editor, when I publish my post, there is no bold or italics text. My source text shows the <-strong-> tag, however, it does not show up bold. I have also tried the <b> tag as well. Any thoughts? Thanks.

it might help to remove em and strong from the list.

I am having the same problem in one of my sites.
<*strong*> nor <*b*> do not work in the front end.
I am able to see the bold in the Visual Editor, but not on the site after I save it.
