    Well, it’s javascript. The free version doesn’t allow custom tags. The paid version has the ability to assign what tags you want displayed before and after the links.

    You would have to do some serious hacking to rip apart the javascript and redisplay it the way you want.

    Is there a reason you don’t want to use the built in link function of WP?

    It’s the ability to know which links have updated. I would use the built-in option, but don’t know of a way to show the links updating (outside of a CRON job that I’ve read of before here… but don’t have the ability to set one up).
