Blogroll suggestion

When someone clicks a link in my blogroll, it opens in the same window. Could I suggest to someone that we make that work the way it does with browsers, add an options somewhere in the blogroll section to allow the link to open in a new tab or new window? So much works so well, and this seems so simple. I mean it works simply in every other program I use, including my various mail packages, and links I’ve built from my main site. I wonder if this is in the works or possible in some way I haven’t been able to find. That url field does not accept html references, like href, to redirect to a new window, so I wonder if someone coding could do something with the blogroll section to allow this? Thanks! :^) gene
