Blogroll Formats – How to creat my idea

Hey guys, I’m sure this is something that wouldn’t take long to figure out, I’m just at a loss as to why I can’t find the answer any where. Basically I’d like my blog roll to have each article entry on the roll a fixed size, which would include the featured image on the left, with the title, date and excerpt on the right. Here is an excellent example and exactly what I’d like:

How would I go about accomplishing this?
