Second, the default font for your post is no good. I would suggest getting away from Times New Roman or whatever the hell that is.
Next, the actual posting style is very distracing. You have very long sentences/paragraphs with no breaks. That makes reading your post a little tough. You should break your posts down into smaller sentences and paragraphs. Cuz honestly I just won't read blog posts that just go on and on. :)
It's good that you are focusing on content rather than worrying about random plugins and crap. But make the content more presentable and people might visit and stay to read.
Lastly, on the theme. Things look OK when I'm on the main page, but clicking on any single post seems to bring on the default Kubrick theme, you might want to fix that.

Posted 6 years ago #Thats very helpful. Also, I just took a look in IE (Im usually in Firefox) and I noticed that the menu on the right is down at the bottom of the page. Any suggestions on what to do there? I don't remember it being like that before, might have something to do with a few of the tags I changed to get ti to pass the xhtml validator thing =(

Posted 6 years ago #I was looking at it in FF, as well. I constantly forget to check out my own blog in broken IE. :) Ensure that you validate both your XHTML and CSS. Once that is done, look at the CONTENT and SIDEBAR tags and see if they are overlapping by any chance.

Posted 6 years ago #Alright fixed the sidebar, it was just too wide in the css ^__^
The font as far as I know is Verdana, and I'm told it is one of the better fonts to use on websites. Maybe it's not showing up on your end, cypher? Or I could have easily messed it up somewhere.
I realized earlier today in one of my posts that I do tend to write on and on, so I'm going to make more of an attempt to break up those thoughts.
And I fixed single posts so they look like the main page. -
Posted 6 years ago #Ahh Veradana..well I'm using WinXP, so I have that font. It's not a batter of not showing up as much as me not liking it. :)
But I think it would work fine if you just break up the posts to be a little more readable. That should do the trick methinks..

Posted 6 years ago #Ill mess with the fonts a little to make sure its Verdana. And I'll try not to stream my thoughts so much in the future ^__^ I think the problem is just that I like to write too much haha.

Posted 6 years ago #Not liking the post font either. I also think some paragraph (
<p>) padding would do your blog some good in order to make your posts easier to read. Also add some left padding to your post titles so they aren't right next to the box.Besides that, looks fine. :)
