I'm trying to move from blogger to WordPress, I have been working on my template for quite a while now and now that I'm ready to move BLOGGER has some glitch and my self hosted blog has been labeled in violation of their TOS and won't let me publish. The error has happened for the past week on and off but now that I'm ready to move it's stuck and BLOGGER has no way of Contacting support.

Can I move my almost 1500 posts to WordPress through my Archives I have on my server?

Everything is backed up but I just can't use the blogger importer. Blogger is actually holding me hostage right now.

Others have had this issue and some didn't get resolved for a month, to me that's unacceptable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lets get something straight. First you want to import your data into WordPress using the WordPress's Import feature.

To achieve this for WP 2.6.2: Log-in admin panel -> Manage -> Import -> select Blogger -> Authorize Blogger to be accessed by WP

From there on, just follow the directions on your screen.

Have a look a this if you're still confused.

If the Import from Blogger doesn't work from your WordPress install, here's an alternative way to get your posts.
