I just got set up last night with 2.6, and while WordPress seems to have installed just fine, I’m having a hell of a time trying to get stuff to import from Blogger.

I get to the “Google Access Request” phase of the process, and when I click “Grant Access”, I get an error that says

    Could not connect to https://www.google.com

There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

    Unknown error 0 (0)

I’ve tried this repeatedly and am still getting the same message.

Now what’s weird is that when I go into the list of authorized sites on my Google account, my domain actually is authorized.

Anyone have any idea how the hell to fix that, or at least jump-start the import process since it is apparently authorized?

I got impatient and wound up going from blogspot to a wordpress.com blog, and then exporting that and reimporting it to my domain.

The only problem was that all my posts had the wrong timestamp by about seven hours, so I have to go through and change them all…almost 1900 of them.
