OK, so I moved by Blogger blog to my new site via their SFTP service. So far so good. Problem being, I did this before I installed WordPress AND I deleted my Blogger blog from their site after I did it. So I'm left with my blog on my site, in Blogger format, and no way to import it into WordPress. The WordPress import page seems to require that you haven't yet done the SFTP move yet. Is there anyway to import a pre-existing Blogger blog structure into WordPress? Any help would be appreciated.
I am not 100% sure, but the WP import only requires to have the imported files in the WP root folder. I guess it's worth to give it a try: install WP, then move all the imported files and folders into the root of the installation, and after that run the blogger-import script.

I thought that the files had to be exported in a certain way in order to be recognized? Hence the template changes. I've made no such change, and am not sure how to manually. Any tips?
Oh, I guess I missed that part, sorry. I thought you published them in the required format.

So am I out of luck? Surely a Perl script or something exists to massage the files into the correct format?
It's been a long time since I used Blogger, but is there a way you could set up another account on Blogger, import the files back to Blogger, then perform the export again, using the format needed for the WP import script? I don't know if any data would be corrupted or if Blogger even allows importing, but it's worth looking into as a last resort.

If there's a way to do it I'm not seeing it...it looks like you can publish remotely all you like, but reuploading isn't an option. It looks like it used to be with Blogspot Plus, but that product is no longer offered.
This stinks.
