blogger import error

    I cant seem to find any help in the archives… this is my error:

    Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/sunithe/public_html/taz/blog/wp-admin/import/blogger.php on line 99

    Please tell me what I should do about this. It says it has imported 28% of my blogger, but then it goes into this endless loop of *files published 0%*.

    Strikes me as a host limitation. Are you on a free or cheap plan somewhere? Who’s your host?

    Anything you have problems with involving “c url” etc. needs to be discussed with your web host provider. Ditto safe mode. Ditto open_base_dir. You may need to get with your tech support, explain what you need to do, and see if they can handle it for you.

    [and she wishes she didn’t have such an intimate acquaintance with hosts and all of the above…. *sigh*]

    appreciate your answers. im on a free host…it eventually uploaded after i tried 20 times…still had the same errors tho.
