I've installed the theme Cutline 3-Column Split 1.1. When I click on the About link, it goes to blog/about/, which is a 404 not found. I updated the existing about page in the admin under Manage/Pages, and when I click view from there I get the page, but as blog/?page_id=2. Is there something else I need to do, or is this theme not compatible with WP 2.3.3? I did a search in the compatibility list, but the theme name doesn't show up as either compatible or not compatible. The blog is at http://www.tcsworldwide.com/blog/. Thanks for any help.
Those links are probably hard coded in the header of the theme you can look in your header.php file in the theme's folder and see.
Have you considered changing the Permalinks to anything except the "default" setting?

Thank you. I am new, as in at the infant level. I tried changing the Permalinks to a custom setting of /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/, and while that did make the url of the page match what the theme expected, I still got a 404, this time both from the link on the page and from the 'View' link in the admin panel. I changed the Permalink setting back to Date and Name Based, which adds the index.php in front of the year, and added index.php to the header of the theme, and the page shows up now. I would have preferred the "prettier" link without the index.php, but it's working.
I guess I should sign myself Trying-to-run-without-learning-to-walk-first.
Thanks again.

Sorry about that, I forgot I was logged in as my other self. I set up a user ID for my own blog (grlg33k) and posted my question from there, and a separate one for my client's blog (tcsworldwide), which is where I had the problem.
