    I had an issue with many of my blog pages being infected with badware code. In an effort to overwrite some of the pages and clean out the badware code, I re-uploaded original wp-admin,wp-content and wp-includes folders. I wasn't aware it would wipe out my blog?

    All of my files are still showing on my server. Is there a way to bring it back?

    Could really use some help here please!

    Thanks,

    Baza

    What do you get when visiting your blog? Nothing, WP errors or a working blog with no content?

    "Error establishing a database connection"
    is the response I get when I type in my domain name.

    If I attempt to access my admin panel at "mydomain/wp-admin" I get this ;
    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at bar0906608194242.db.4032685.hostedresource.com. This could mean your host's database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

    If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Barry

    Try setting your wp-config.php file up again. Looks like your database credentials are incorrect.
