   Is there a difference between the visibility between a WordPress.com site as opposed to a Self-Hosted site? For example, I believe .com blogs are indexed in WordPress' search engine... is this true for self-hosted as well, or are they completely out there?

   WordPress.Com does index blogs hosted on their servers, not elsewhere. Whether search engines then index such sites is another question. Getting SEO functionality with self hosted .org sites works the same as it would with any site.

   Great, so if I understand you correctly, WordPress.com users will likely see additional traffic from WordPress visitors than a self-hosted user who relies on search engines, correct?

   That would assume they search for blogs on WordPress.Com and not Google, Yahoo, Bing?
