On our update we have a blog for our baseball league. I am looking for something that will automatically update the front page informing people when the blog has been updated.
Anyone know if this exists?

WordPress already does this - when the site is updated, it shows the latest post at the top ;)
But seriously - Do you mean you want some sort of notice on your main home page (outside of WordPress)?
If so, it is possible. There is a reply here that shows some sample code that can be used to get the latest post outside of WordPress:
